Scummy (Yet Appealing)

Photos taken on Beacon Hill today.

The fire station. Appealing!

That old brick apartment building by Jefferson Park. Appealing!

The view of downtown from Pac-Med. Appealing!

The "$1 Dollar quality Food Meals" sign at the ABC Supermarket. Scummy (yet appealing)!

Is Beacon Hill near Queen Anne Hill? I walked around QAH one day last year taking a bunch of pictures. I think I had a friend in Beacon Hill several years ago, but I don't remember it very well.

Nope, Queen Anne is just north of downtown while Beacon Hill is south of downtown.

I remember admiring your Queen Anne photos from last year:

Oh how I wish that Beacon Hill homeowners cared one-tenth as much as Queen Anne gardeners do! We do have a few lovely, sculptured Japanese-style gardens (I'll take pictures when the weather warms up for strolls) here and there, but nothing like the care and good taste regularly found up in the Queen Anne area.
