Boing Boing reports that a dude in Belgium has posted three hours of MTV from 1983.

wtf? U2? Culture Club? Duran Duran? Eurythmics? They played that shit all the time in 1983. No Journey? Def Leppard Pyromania? (tho i liked you're bringin' on the heartache better--and if i was a rock band, I'd cover that tune and if I could sing i'd do it karaoke.)

I do not know who the fuck Garland Jeffreys is. (But he sounds gay. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Cuz I'm gay...)

I liked Quarterflash. I thought she had a really good voice.

I did not like the Romantics or Split Enz, but I thought the Fixx was interesting and kinda trippy.

David Bowie had a brief moment in the 1980s when he had good songs, and then that was it. No good songs since he covered China Girl.
