No More Overflowing Garbage at 15th and Oregon?

This just in from a neighbor near McPherson's:

I wanted to let you know complaining to the mayor's office works. I sent a note to the Mayor's Customer Service Bureau about the City garbage can that
had been overflowed since Halloween. Not only being unsightly it was fast becoming a health hazard.

They did clean it up and indicated, Within the next couple weeks, SPU will be exchanging the old a-frame can for a new round can at 15th Avenue South and South Oregon Street (4300 block).

Yes, complaining works! Some things, like complaining to SPU about graffiti on private property, can take a very long time to work. But don't let that stop you from getting the ball rolling. Because you can then escalate your issue to the mayor's office, which can be helpful.

Here's a list of most of the complaint services at the city.

And when those don't work, here's where you can take your issue straight to the mayor's office.
