US-10 once followed this route, through Renton to Issaquah. Then, US-10 switched to the Mercer Island route when the Lacey Murrow floating bridge was built, and MLK (then Empire Way) because the US-10 south alternate route. US-10 was replaced by I-90, eventually, though parts of it remain as US-10 back East.

Then it eventually became SR 900. Since 1992, SR 900 starts at the Boeing Access Road, but it used to start all the way up in Seattle. (As did SR 167, on Rainier.)

So now you know why Sunset Blvd in Renton is called Sunset; it's the old Sunset Highway.litlnemohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03450588850736881105noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2573229163921581861.post-54911531740542857992007-09-09T14:06:00.000-07:002007-09-09T14:06:00.000-07:00I love chicken. I used to go there in college, but I am now afraid to go to Ezell's because I know I am going to love it so much that it won't be just an "every now and again" thing. It's better for me to keep that memory tucked far away.JvAhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13300544674853649714noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2573229163921581861.post-54194218798145606432007-09-09T11:04:00.000-07:002007-09-09T11:04:00.000-07:00Wow, you really are in my neck of the woods. Ezell's is da bomb if you like good fried chicken every now and then.Nikchickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04499596141296630392noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2573229163921581861.post-49562912309469607142007-09-09T09:22:00.000-07:002007-09-09T09:22:00.000-07:00I know the intersection with the church well, we t...I know the intersection with the church well, we turn there to drop down into our view-less valley neighborhood.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2573229163921581861.post-56062447001554571772007-09-09T00:56:00.000-07:002007-09-09T00:56:00.000-07:00Sovanchams Bunt?Sovanchams Bunt?chuck b.https://www.blogger.com/profile/00882763861745236443noreply@blogger.com
