Ciscoe's Yard Again

Today is Garden Bloom Day, and I'm supposed to show you everything in bloom in my garden. But I have a much better idea -- I'll show you what's in bloom in Ciscoe Morris's garden!

After we stopped by Ciscoe's place, we went to my friends' house, where a mother robin scolded me for checking out her young ones.

    Weird! Last night the blog was not showing this post at the top, no matter how many times I shift-F5ed or cleared cookies.

    I haven't met Cisco yet, though I feel it's inevitable, given how often I go to his house and how often he speaks at nurseries. I think he's making like six public appearances in the next eight days.

    I promise I'll let you know as soon as it happens.

    Chuck, I know you want me to shoot Bloedel, which I definitely will this summer. Are there any other places in the Northwest you -- or anyone else reading this -- wants to see photos of?

    I'm going to Bainbridge Island for their big garden tour in a few weeks, so I'll definitely get photos of the five gardens on display, if I make it to all five.

    I notice that Little and Lewis have five more open garden days this summer. That place is magical.

    I'd like to get back to Elandan, since none of their maples had leaves during my last visit.

    And I'll be in Portland at least a couple more times this summer.

    Man, these are gorgeous. I just hunted them back out to give to a Cisco Morris fan here at the temple. They have stood the test of memory.
