Tonoho Chul Park

I've been admiring cactuses in the Sonoran Desert. These photos were taken at Tonoho Chul Park in Tucson.

Gorgeous, Julie! What incredible forms. I love how those orange buds are just about to open.

I want to know more about your lens. Do you have a macro for those closeups?

You just reminded me that I want to do prickly pear cacti in my parking strip.

Happy to see a new entry here! The Mid-Beacon Hill blog was the first Beacon Hill blog I followed, so I will always have a soft spot for it!

Oh, and your blog inspired me to photograph the plants around my yard this summer as they bloom...

Beautiful, one of my favorite places on earth, although I haven't been there since 2003. I think its "Tohono" though after the local tribe. Welcome back!
