Seattle to Portland

Went to Portland on Friday.

We stopped in Vader, Washington, because I've always wanted to go there because it's called "Vader."

We did not continue on to Ryderwood.

In Portland, I had deviled eggs, Waldorf salad, and tomato bisque soup at the Savoy Bistro.

Is that a long drive? I like Portland but Guy says "it's worse than Seattle" by which he means it has more "rednecks". It's hard to imagine rednecks in Portland, but whatever dude.

It's about a three-hour drive.

I would guess that Portland has fewer rednecks, but perhaps it has a higher percentage. But in general, I think it's a very tolerant, open city. We always stay with gay friends (the owners of the cute puppy!) who live out in the boonies, and I don't think they've ever had any trouble there.
