Planet Georgetown is closing at the end of the month. A bunch of Georgetowners came by tonight to say goodbye.

NO! Although it wasn't my favorite dive in Seattle when I was living there, it was, at the time, one of the few in my neck of the woods (south Beacon Hill). I always liked knowing it was there...

I never went there. Now I feel bad, maybe it I had, it would not be closing. Why is it closing? At one time it that area was going to be for more recycling??? Anyway- something someone told me a few years ago.
On a different note- when to the Hanger Cafe on Sunday- had a lovely breakfast. I hope that place can make it.

It's truly a shame the place is closing down, it is like the old show CHEERS; every knew your name. Hell and if people didn't know you, then you were quickly excepted as one of the group. I'll miss the karaoke nights and the lax surroundings. (I'm the 13th pic down)

Bye-bye Planet Georgetown. You WON'T be missed. There's a reason after all they went out of biz.

They didn't go out of business jack ass...the lndlord has other plans for the property. Thanks Mo for the fun...surely missed. Let us know if and when there's a new place...Until then, the party (at least some of us) are going to move to the next best dive in town...Marco Polo on 4th. Join me as we carry on the traditions of good fun and great boozin over at Marco Polo.

Wow. Im not a bar regular, but had more than my share of beer there. Just saw the vacancy last week and wondered what happened. Marco Polo will NOT be a replacement. The new management and staff dont care much for regular blue collar working stiffs, they want a preppy yuppie crowd and will let you know so. Sad to see Mo's gone.
