Trip to Toronto: Niagara Fucking Falls

I never thought I would go to Niagara Falls, but I did, and I can report that it is awesome.

I'm not saying that you need to go there, but I'm saying that if you're ever spending some time in Toronto, you need to go there.

That boat ride looks like fun. You prompted me to read the whole Wiki on Niagara Falls. Interesting stuff. Did you know the falls are below the bottom of Lake Erie, and one day, the Falls will recede far enough up river to drain Lake Erie? Look it up!

Great photos! And, I would say that, YES, everyone need to go there :) It's amazing.

My family visited NFs the summer before I entered ninth grade and we took the boat into the falls. I distinctly remember being terrified and thrilled all at once. Of course, I don't remember anything about any wineries.

My husband and I talk about taking a month each summer with our boys to explore a different part of the US and Canada. Niagara Falls and Toronto is definitely on our list.

OK, on to your other Toronto-related posts.

One quick tidbit: did you know that the Snoqualmie Falls are taller than the Niagara Falls? It's true!

Nice pictures, jva! Dry Falls in Central Washington was even bigger than Niagra Falls, when it wasn;t dry:
